Thanks! I realized recently that all my short stories were turning out 'cozy' and whimsical. Which is fine... but, still, I wanted to try something different too. So, I decided that my two more recent ones would both end darkly instead. LOL. And they do... mwaaaha ha ha ha.
And I liked the idea of a betrayal within a betrayal within a betrayal. Even the jinn was outwitted by the urn owner.
